New job

I am off to a brand new opportunity working for a small company as
software architect. Starting in April. When I joined my current company
I would not have expected to leave so early. I have been there only two
years, and really expected this to be a much more serious opportunity.
But what do you do when the company decides, strategically, to do much
less software development and there is simply not enough work?
The last six months have been hectic. A lot of 'opportunities' came and
went and in the end the work dried up. They say that new work will
come, but this is also something I have heard so often already. Most
likely the work will come but anyway, not many opportunities to grow,
and what this work will be is also uncertain. And then, I have this
very interesting new opportunity. Again something to really sink my
teeth in and I am really looking forward to it.
Anyway, this new job should be it. I don't want to become a job hopper so I hope this is for a much longer term.
