As it turns out, the server will arrive later and it looks like I was
misinformed by alternate last week. As a result, it becomes impossible
to try out the Highpoint RocketRaid 2310 because if it would turn ou to
be incompatible, it wouldn’t be possible anymore to return it and get
my money back.
So, (sigh)… I am returning the card to alternate and since alternate
will not have the RocketRaid 2300 (which is compatible) in stock before
July, I am ordering this card elsewhere. This card is now on order at
webconnexxion.com, a Schiedam-Netherlands based company. They say the
card will be on stock next week so that looks promising.
