RAID card delivery with UPS… aarghhh!!!!

Ok, it looks like everything that can go wrong will go wrong. When I
ordered the RAID card, I explicitly selected delivery by regular post
(which means I will get the package). Nevertheless, something went
wrong and the package will be delivered by UPS. In fact it arrived
yesterday, when I was at work, today, when I was also at work, and will
arrive again for the final time tomorrow (when I will be at work
again).

Changing the delivery address will not help because there is a maximum
of three deliveries. So that means I can collect the card, probably in
Best, which is 2 x 45 minutes drive.  And, no doubt, collecting
the package will only be possible on working days during working hours
(when I will be at work).

If there is something which does not work, it is delivery by courier.
It doesn’t matter whether its DHL or UPS, they simply lose the package
(like DHL lost my new labour contract in 1998), or will require dozens
of phone calls to make sure you finally get the package. Of course, UPS
also doesn’t provide any guarantee when the package will be delivered,
so the basic model is basically that of the society of 1950 when there
is always someone at home to receive the package. Also, this brings
back memories of the time I agreed with DHL to collect a package at
their warehouse where it turned out they couldn’t find it.

Oh man, this sucks! Now I am doubting between canceling the order and
ordering the card elsewhere or to have the card delivered again by
regular mail. Anyway, I am trying the second option now.
